F&C is a small local firm and was established on January 1, 1991 upon the merger of the practices of Bruce E. Fernandes, CPA and Terrance A. Charest, CPA. The firm transitioned partners in 2020, to Johnny Cordeiro, CPA, MST a long-term employee and Otto Schleinkofer, CPA, MST.
Johnny Cordeiro, CPA, MST
Johnny has worked with us at Fernandes & Charest, P.C. for the past twelve years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bryant University. Johnny has worked on assurance and tax engagements throughout all the industries we serve and has been an integral part of the firm for many years.

Otto W. Schleinkofer III, CPA, MST
Otto joined the firm as of July 11, 2020. He holds a Post-Baccalaureate in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Amherst, respectively and a Master of Science in Taxation from Taft University. He is active in the local community serving as Chair on the Board of Directors for the Lloyd Center, volunteers his time to coach baseball and basketball for the Berkley Athletic Association, and has served on the Town of Berkley’s Financial Task Force.

Bruce Fernandes, CPA, MST
Bruce established the firm in 1991. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Master’s of Science in Taxation from Bryant College. His goal has been, and F&C’s will continue to be, the commitment to our philosophy of providing the finest tax and advisory services and to professionally serve your needs.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Johnson & Wales University in 2006.

Kait is a paraprofessional who performs administrative support services for the firm along with maintaining client service responsibilities relating to bookkeeping, accounting, write up work, and tax preparation for clients in a variety of industries. She earned an Associates degree from Utah State University.
